Hello!

Loving Triaxian Silk community, thank you for your patience over these last few very difficult weeks. A few of you have been trying to submit stories and have not received any reply. I'm sorry to say my mother passed away on August 25th and I was out of town for 2 weeks handling that. It was very sudden and unexpected and I've been handling all of her affairs since then. It is a very daunting task, something I do not wish on anyone. (This is where I say - if you are over 35 - do yourself a favor and put your documents like life insurance and Wills and car/house titles in a fire safe or a lockbox and tell your loved ones where everything is! AND GET A WILL!)

In any case, I haven't caught up on the submissions yet but I am working hard to inform everyone of my absence and get things moving again. My apologies for the silence. And my sincere apologies to the authors who have been waiting... many of you have stuck with us through thick and thin and offer us your work even when you might get more viewership elsewhere. We sincerely, I sincerely, appreciate your patronage, and your company, in this thing of ours, over the years.

My condolences! Losing a parent is very hard, even without those extra complications. I hope all of that is coming together as well as possible.

Thanks everyone. I've also just been manditorily moved to night shift (midnight - 9 AM) so I haven't caught up on site work yet.

Ugh - I hate night shift. Actually, what I really hate is trying to sleep during the day. Everyone assumes it's OK to bang on your door, run their leaf blower next to your window, etc. Hang in there!

And folks, please take his advice re: documents to heart. If you haven't had to help pick up the pieces you just cannot understand.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers guys. We have a new admin coming on soon to help me catch up from the deluge. It's discouraging what's happened, all the submissions that have sat and gathered dust, but I think we can recover.

I'm actually going to try and pick up the pen again here in the next few weeks to get something going. I never felt right about leaving my AU "Warp 6 Complex" series a twist of fate without more meat to it, and I wanted to do more with Your Mom n Me. Maybe we can get the creative juices flowing again after all these years!

I'm looking forward to the things our new admin will be posting and to the things that will come from getting those creative juices flowing!
