Chapter 9 of Linda's Letter Home Series is now up.

Note: Transwarp, has sent me an email saying the Chapter 10 of Convicted has been replaced. I have not yet received the new version, but will replace the current version in its entirety when I do.

Chapter 4 of Putaro's The Ocean at Night is now up.

Please do not expect this rate of posting as a standard. I hope to get a few more stories done and then I will need to take a break to do my family's Federal and State Income Tax preparation work. I also have some vacations coming up in late March and mid April which mean's I can't focus entirely on on working the backlog as Uncle Sam is not as forgiving as the TriaxianSilk readership.

Weeble - Your 2015 submission of Lots of Company - Chapter 9 will be announced in a new 2015 Submissions thread. As the newest submission, its a the bottom of queue.

This evening has been like walking into a coffe shop and finding a table full of smiling, familiar and long-missed faces! I am so delighted to discover what wonderful things you all have been up to! Special, appreciative thanks for the new postings and... (ouch!) thanks for the reminder about les-than-patient old Uncle Sam! (I gotta get to that...)

The Essence of Blue by Lt. Zoe Jebkanto is now up in the Library at P'Jem.

For those of you tracking things, I now have 1 story by Lt. Zoe Jebkanto (a christmas story) and Kotik's 20 part series in the backlog for 2014. I have 7 additional stories from Lt. Zoe Jebakanto (that I can't find any record of in the 2014 submissions). In addition, I have a story by Weeble and more Letters from Linda in the 2015 queue.

Hi. I have just posted a Sixpence at Christmas by Lt. Zoe Jebkanto in the main section. I am pretty well caught up (not really but close enough) on my personal business and hope to post more stories shortly.

Thank you so much for posting new stories. The strenght of this site has always been the excellent stories. For a writer, there is nothing better so see your story posted (and you can't wait for them to be posted), for a reader is a joy to see new stories. Thanks!

Hello Everyone:

This is an edit of an earlier post today

I wanted to let you know that a revised and extended version of Transwarp's Convicted Chapter 10 is now up. Unfortunately, this was not a clean update as I ran into a number of problems attempting to make the changes. The bottom line is the story is now up as revised but the 5 or 6 comments that had been made to the original Chapter 10 have been lost. I offer my apologies to Transwarp and those of you who commented on the story.

For those of you who want the details, Transwarp sent the site a number of revisions to Chapter 10 of his Convicted story, as well as two or three additional scenes that he wanted me to add. Some of these were subtle word choice exchanges and to be honest improvements. For some reason the site software would not allow me to post changes from MS Word into the story. When I tried copying the revisions and pasting them into the old text, what was pasted was a link back to my computer. The only way I could paste into the story was paste into a text app and the copy that into the story. Unfortunately, this approach eliminated all of the formatting. I then tried deleting the all the text and pasteing in the entire story, which also failed. This left one workaround, which was to delete the entire chapter story and repost the entire story as if it was brand new. I have been able to do successfully in the past on a new post. Unfortunately, while this approach worked, it ended up deleting all of the comments that had been made.

I am going to be contacting Elessar to see if there was a better solution. At present, there are a couple of extra blank lines that I cannot remove.

Thanks, 73Bruin. Your explanation left my head spinning! Thank goodness all I had to do was write it.

Saint Ferdinand’s Medallion by Lt. Zoe Jebkanto is now up.

I would like to thank Cap'n Frances for editing Saint Ferdinand’s Medallion. I made a some formatting changes to her edit, more to reflect my personal biases towards readability (e.g. I prefer 2 spaces after a sentence - old eyes), than any error on her part. So if you like the more modern style, the fault is mine.

Once again the board software has caused a glitch. I could not find a way to include the 's in the story title. The first few times I tried posting the story it replaced the 's with ???s. Editing the story after posting introduced other errors that were even worse. I decided to drop the apostrophe as it looked cleaner. So for the grammarians out there, neither Zoe, Cap'n nor I, missed the need for the apostrophe. :)
