I know what you mean, but I think a lot of actors are shorter and/or slighter than we expect them to be in real life. On screen, it's just not that obvious. Those ten extra pounds the camera give come in useful for a lot of guys, perhaps...

I'm not sure who you're remembering, Asso, but I've met Connor Trinneer... hugged him, even. He's beautiful and in terrific shape, but he's by no means large or muscle bound.
Often we create our own mental versions of these characters which are completely at odds with what was shown on screen, but that's Fanfiction for you. It's called using your imagination.

He's in front of the Tamanawas Falls. Given that Connor is from Walla, Walla Washington its probably kinda like home for him. Google Tamanawas Falls for some additional pics (sans Mr. Trinneer, sorry ladies)

AND it's in San Francisco. Have at it. (But you should give Arianna Trinneer credit. She has a wonderful eye.)
