I was a bit annoyed by Trip's reaction on T'Pol's news that her marriage was over. Like T'Pol I was expecting him to say or act a little bit more than saying he was sorry. It may have been an automatic polite reaction, but it can be come across that he rather would have T'Pol married to Koss. On the other hand, I can understand Trip. He had a great deal of disappointing conversations with T'Pol lately and when he reached out to her, she told him she had to deal with other stuff first.

Sometimes I escape to FFnet and read the rest of the chapters, just as an antidote to this kind of angst, but I am glad in this version both of them make mistakes and both are in pain, instead of only a miserable Trip. It does more justice to the situation.
