No, what, why?

I think it's a great choice, giving writers almost unlimited possibilities. The E2 scenario is largely unexplored and strikes me as an excellent opportunity to put right all the things that TPTB screwed up with TnT's relationship, and all without breaking canon. I think it was an inspired choice.

What Cogito said. Don't really think it was a bad choice, so I don't really understand why you think you have disappointed anyone. If it is the lack of response, well, that's a completely different story. A lot of people left, when Aquarius jumped ship to create her own site. The whole of 2011 is marked by very low activity. Sometimes the TnT section in the forum does not receive a new entry for days, so unless some people come back our we recruit some new talents, I'm afraid we can just as well wait for the first pieces of tumbleweed to blow by :doubt:

E2 is a good choice. I'm neck deep in a release cycle or I'd jump in.

Aquarius left!!? I had no idea.

But then, I'm usually the last to know anything.
Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes.

Well she was around for a while, even with her own site running, but I haven't seen anything of her for a while. Aquarius, honeybee, Alelou are just 3 of the more prominent people, who are rarely or not at all around anymore

Alelou is still writing Enterprise stuff, though she says she's not sure if she's going to keep her interest after she finishes getting TnT together. She's has a "missing episode" in progress for Season 4 that's pretty good over at ff.net http://www.fanfiction.net/s/7107569/1/Secrets_and_Sties_Another_Missing_Episode. Everyone should drop by and give her a review and convince her to keep writing!

There is one thing that worries me about the 'pick an episode' format. It's not an issue with E2 because the plot is so wide open; we have a hundred years to play with. But there are quite a few episodes where I think multiple writers are going to end up tripping over each other - writing about basically the same things. It's inevitable in fanfic anyway, but in some ways it seems a shame, when there are relatively few new stories being written, to have a bunch of stories tripping over each other.

I know there will be tough episodes...I'm wondering if I shouldn't do something a little different and give the option of doing a rewrite of a selected episode (or a certain scene from that episode to be rewritten) or doing a missing scene. Would this open things a bit more for everyone and give you all a bit more to work with?

Just for the record: that nembers are leaving or aren't visiting this site as frequent as they used to, started about two years ago. Aquarius started a general ENT site a year later. Besides, a couple of people told me why they have left and it wasn't because there was a new site.

As for the challenge: I would love to write a story about E2. I even have some ideas. But with my busy work, study and family I can hardly find time to write my normal stuff. So maybe in Augustus (vacation!). I love the idea and are hoping many will reply.

Oooh, that a good one *madgiggle*

I don't think there's canonical evidence of Tolaris after his confrontation with Archer, is there. :reddawn:

I can already imagine the story forming around that idea, and I know you'll do it well. :D
