Well, T'Pring wore something silver-y on her "wedding" day with Spock. And it was rather short too. Picture Polly in that.
She's got an awfully nice bum!

The color is right but we have to remember it was more than 100 years ago 60's glam wasn't in full swing. Look at what was en in style in 1911 Edwardian fasionistas would think us all scandlous with a capital S. So I doubt T'Pol would approve of T'Pring's choice. I certainly didn't approve of T'Pau in slacks when she conducted the ceremony!

Yep when she conducted the ceremony, it totally made her awesome hairdo a moot point and the shoes!!!! :upchuck:

But her "throne" was impeccable, the royal chair of Nefertiri (played by the AMAZING Anne Baxter) in 1956 The Ten Commandments one of my all time favorite movies despite the Biblical and historical inaccuracies that abound. Come to think of it almost all the props were from that movie...

Perhaps she had ugly legs.
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

So she didn't have to wear a mini skirt! But really the shoes were the real offense.

Too bad. It would have been interesting.

Oh no I meant the actress was 70, not T'Pau! T'Pau was pushing the 200 mark in Amok Time.

But really unless you have exceptionally fantastic legs like Nicole Kidman nobody should wear a mini after 40. And most people should quit after 30, and then there are people like me with legs that should never be shown AT ALL! Skinny chicken legs that's what I have, thank you daddy! But the CP didn't help...

So all Kirk needed to do was say, "Let my people go!"
Wedding over, problem solved.
Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes.

Now you see, I missed all that.

(And at silly o'clock in the morning, it took me several re-reads to work out that Anne Baxter didn't actually play a chair ...)

Well, No Anne Baxter didn't play a chair, but she certainly gave a relief from all the testosterone flying around between Charlton Heston and Yul Brenner. Something that was desperately needed, and Debra Paget and Yevonne De Carlo seemed to be incapable of doing.

 Sorry I get carried away talking about movies.

But yes T'Pau's outfit did not do the character justice either for the occasion, or the awe in which Kirk and McCoy held her in.
