:trip: :tpol: I'm glad Trip and T'Pol's relationship was finally featured in StarTrek magazine it was long overdue that it was finally mentioned in their magazine.

Found a picture online of Trip and T'Pol (among other couples) pictured here from that magazine issue:

Couldn't imagine how they could not have TnT in it, they're not only my favorite couple (from any of the series), but they're the #1 thing I like best about Star Trek, period!

I agree! And let me say you've come to the right place since you feel like that. :)

Hi, Marchale,

Welcome! :hatsoff: If you like, you can go to this thread and introduce yourself: tell us a little about self, how you found Enterprise and Trip and T'Pol, and any trekkie projects you want us to know about.

Are you into fanfic? Are you a writer?

Hey Everybody,

Thank you so much for the great replies welcoming me here, that was so sweet of you's to do and I LOVE it here!!!! Sorry about not answering your posts sooner than this, but I had to run out and buy this magazine so I could upload the article on Trip & T'Pol on my Fotopic account here http://marchale.fotopic.net/c1947998_1.html so any members here who haven't seen it yet can read it (sorry about the lousy scans, I suck at scanning, but at least it's readable) - and speaking of Trip, I've also got a few screencaps of (mainly) him I uploaded too, you can either check them out by individual episodes here:
Stigma screencaps
http://marchale.fotopic.net/c652775.html

Dawn screencaps
http://marchale.fotopic.net/c652771.html

Precious Cargo screencaps
http://marchale.fotopic.net/c646172.html

or maybe it's just easier viewing everything from the main page here http://marchale.fotopic.net/ where you can also view pics of my lovely cats, the catnip plants I bought for them last summer and my messy apartment in general too, LOL!

But to get to the personal replies here:

enterprikayak - thank you so much for saying you love my fakes, I love your paintings and really appreciated the link to them! I never thought of using works of art, that it such a cool idea you had there!!! Can't wait to check out your videos too (but being on dialup, it'll take me awhile). You're into Photoshop? Brave soul! I just use Paint Shop Pro 7. No, I didn't find you's on Facebook (I'm not a member there), I actually found this site doing a google search for Trip & T'Pol in that magazine article before I bought the magazine. Thanks so much for writing!

(ahhh, just as a disclaimer about the fakes on my website, some of them are on the slightly R rated side, so if that offends you, I apologize but just don't go there if you would be offended by it. I'm not trying to cause any problems here, but most Enterprise and Voyager fans I've heard comments from share my taste for the steamier stuff).

Cogito - Thanks for writing. Glad to hear you share my opinion about Trip & T'Pol, and yeah, I agree with you about how I've come to the right place here since I feel like that, Triaxiansilk is Fantastic and I'm sure I'm really going to love it here alot!

justTripn - Thanks for welcoming me here and inviting me to introduce myself on that members link (which I will do soon). Yes, I am into fanfic (especially of the TnT type!), but no, I'm not a writer (anyone who seen the sole "misreble read" Voyager fanfic I tried writing many years ago can attest to that fact!). I just create fakes, that's all - although I did make a TnT video once (prior to season 4) set to the music of Bon Jovi's "In These Arms" (oooh, I love Bon Jovi, alot of their songs are so romantic). Ahhh, as far as anything recent I've been up to Trek wise, well - it's a long story, but something happened in my life recently that got me back to wanting to be active again with it (instead of just rarely cowardly lurking in silent as I've done pretty much since 2005), so hopefully I'll have more fakes created soon - that is, if I can find larger head shots of characters to match the larger bodyshots on the internet made for modern resolution monitors used nowdays, I haven't done anything since 2005.

Anyway, thank you all so much for welcoming me here and replying to me - that was very sweet of you's to do and I think this is just the greatest place online and I'm so overjoyed I found it!!!!

Hi, those are really great screencaps from Dawn. They take a long time to download though, I don't know why. Would it help if their were a lower resolution version too? Where are they stored? (I am showing my IT ignorance here.)

Also, where are the "fakes" (another term I am just learning)?

Glad to hear you liked the screencaps. Sorry to hear they are taking a long time to download (I can empathize with you on that because I'm on "crawling at a snail's pace" dial-up here myself and everything takes a long time for me to download). I have no idea why it's taking a long time, I'm very IT ignorant! Ahh, maybe Fotopic is just really busy right now or there's alot of traffic on the internet generally, I don't know. Sorry, I'm really not tech savvy enough to know how to lower the resolution any further than I did without harming the picture quality much - but if it's any consolation, I already did a JPG Optimization on them through Paint Shop Pro before posting them to my Fotopic account - and I know Fotopic cuts the resolution down to 70% again once they receive them too; and sadly, I lost the originals when my old computer died, so I no longer have them to play around with, only whats there on the internet. Wish I could help you out there, but I'm just not tech savvy enough to know how to do any better than what I did already.

You asked where the fakes are, they're on my website itself (not on the Fotopic account). You can reach the old 2005 website through my new website which is listed below my signature.

We were so mad about that magazine at first cause we thought they'd left out a few notable Trek couples, and in the end, it brought us someone new! Ya just never know.

Yeah, I bet you's were mad, I sure would've been too. I didn't even find out about this magazine till the day I joined your fantastic forum here. I found that pic I initially posted over on the VAMB message board - thats a Voyager site, and when I tried doing a google search for the article on Trip and T'Pol in that magazine issue, it had the link for the discussion about it here and I thought "Triaxiansilk? Hmmm, I wonder what that is, so I clicked on the link and wa-la, I was instantly discovering the best damn website on the internet.

Yeah, you're right - you just never know!

Re-Edited here - just put in the URL for my new website below my signature - you can get to the old 2005 website (which I can't update anymore) through there.

Thanks for telling me that, but I have already shared my website url, just look around. Really, I'm not trying to be funny or mysterious about it, but I just hope kids wouldn't be able to figure it out, thats all.

(And if anyone doesn't know what I mean by that and wants the url, please either PM me or email me at writeme@pro-ns.net - thanks!)

We don't mind you reproducing it if you want to Marchale, I was just emphasizing we try not to put 1024x768 full frontal nudies everywhere ;)
