I think I can squeeze that in. I should have time to re-read tomorrow night. I'm on Mountain Standard Time...I can meet pretty much anytime. What's everyone else's schedule like?

I just finished (spending all my time of my free day, a day which I only have once in two weeks!) my first draft of the next chapter of The Slopes of Andoria. The title is (The) Cries of War - so does any one know how to translate this in Latin?

Google Translate says "Clamore bellum".

I just sent it back to you despite my computer crashes! Yesterday my computer couldn't get it started - the computer stayed in this loop. This after a crash (by the famour TRIS virus), loosing my writing program, several hick up's and now this weird behavior after a faithful service of 7 years. Luckily I get a new computer, hopefully it's up and running soon! :)

I started work on the next installment of the story. Current ETA is sunday and the working title is Estne volumen in toga, an solum tibi libet me videre?

no, joking...

it's Ex abrupto

I'd say, if we want to finish it in a fashion that doesn't feel rushed, we'll need about 2 more chapies after mine, so if one of those, who didn't originally work on it want to leave their mark, feel free to join in. How about out resident energizer bunny?

Aha! Estne volumen in toga, an solum tibi libet me videre? - Is that a scroll in your toga, or are you just glad to see me?

Just popping in to say that my chapter will take a few days longer than initially planned  You see, thing is this - Germanyland is still a contender in the Euro's and I attended the public viewing last week, when we beat the raw stuffing out of the hapless Greek (after arsewhooping Holland, too :-p ). Anyways, I digress... Long story short... Beer supply was ample and at my age hangovers last a week and just as my foggy brains starts to clean up, its the semifinals against them dang Italians tomorrow, so lather, rinse, repeat. So it's probably going to take at least another week (or two, if we reach the final) *BURP*

Kotik, we are pulling for Germany. wife being a Berliner.

Why do you torture me so. You keep talking about drinking the great German Beer. I loved it. Only place the beer wasn't up to snuff was in Frankfurt am Main because of the Americans. they had no taste so th local Beer breweries just put out crap. thank god the class six store had Becks in the large bottles.

I think (hope) that Germany will be in the final. Probably against Spain.

Hmmm. So... you do realize that the symptoms of a hangover are caused by your brain cells swelling from the toxic insult of too much alcohol, right? And some of the cells don't recover. They die. :faint:

And did you know that after about the age of 2 humans aren't capable of making any new brain cells? So every time someone has a hangover they get just a tiny bit of permanent brain damage. :?

Have fun!
