I truly fear human nature sometimes, I really do. And the fact that this stuff is now lauded and esteemed. No wonder...

I am an ST fan but I'd never name my kid after a Trek character, life is hard enough on kids. And what if they grew up hating ST anyway or because of it?

I could see Trip giving nicknames to all of his kids, but I wouldn't dare speculate on them merely because it would depend entirely on the children's personalities. And since those are up to the writers, the possibilities are endless.
