That is one of the great questions of this board. Many of us have been waiting for another chapter. We realize that life intrudes so we know she is willing but cannot get to it yet.

Hi, furrypawpaw!

The short answer to your question is yes, I'm gonna finish it.

But it's a little more complicated than that.

It's slower in coming than I imagined...but then I should've known since it took about a year to get Chapter 1 "right." Not that I think subsequent chapters are gonna be all that difficult to write. The "what" has to happen is all in my head...the how...well, I don't release that to the public until I'm satisfied; since I'm putting it out there for public consumption and this fic is my big Love Letter to Trip and T'Pol, it gets nothing short of the very best I can accomplish. Not that my other work doesn't. I just am more painstaking and attentive (my betas would probably say "neurotic") about this one, because it's Really Important.

Factor in that it's been a VERY rough summer--personal issues, moving, going on vacation right after moving, and then various minutae and drama to contend with that ate up time that I otherwise would've spent writing.

And now, the semester's started...I'm pulling 15 credit hours plus working 3-4 days a week.

So, I humbly ask everyone...be patient with me.

I do appreciate your interest, and I don't mind being "poked" about this, as it usually comes right about the time when I need to stop what I'm doing and do something for myself...like working on my epic.
