I can't believe that no one put up Memory Alpha simply by itself. Bernd's Ex Astris Scientia website is also an excellent source of information, with galleries, ship lists, information on appearances, as well as behind the scenes information. Smile

Perhaps it would be nice to have all these links somewhere under a ficwriters reference area.

Unfortunately threads tend to age off the server if I understand correctly.

Not if somebody makes it stay up top permanently. Isn't that called a "sticky"? What about it, dark_rain? Elessar? Jedikatie?

Uh, just saw Rigil already posted the link to the VLI. Oh, well, it is a good source. The Vulcan physiology page is very interesting.

Here's me faves (sorry 4 any repeats):

Enterprise Canon Info (Very good!)

TGTMD Book Wiki (Awesome source for detailed TGTMD info...now that we take it as canon...mostly {that darn missing nephew!})

Chronology of Romulan History (good 4 Vulcan history, too)

Closed-Caption Logs (good for getting those scenes/lines mostly correct {closed caption is sometimes quite imaginatively off-base, but that's part of the magic of fanfic})

Good Ol' STARTREK.COM's Enterprise Episode Guide. Straight from the horse's.

My social studies teacher posted one from our local paper (which is HORRIBLE for this sort of thing). Nice big bold headline in which "Director of Public Services" became "Director of Pubic Services". It was meant to remind us to proofread as WELL as spellcheck. Years later I haven't forgotten. Well done Mr. Social Studies Teacher.

What is this "we" you speak of? I don't take TGTMD as canon (can't really, since canon is defined as what aired on the screen).

I think that canon is what you want to be canon ,personally i prefer to take TGTMD as canon instead of *the_abomination* ,but i don't really care for canon ,i still can enjoy a good story even if its not canon.

TGTMD is an good resource of planets, carachter names or carachters themselvs ,and other stuff like the corridanite diplomatic masks, (wich i think its awesome) for fic writers.

I knew Rigil would take exception. Death, taxes, and Rigil taking exception. These things can be relied upon. Laughing

I was skimming through the Enterprise Canon Info site and I did not find Soval listed. He is a major character, at least among the Vulcans on Enterprise. Did I miss a mention of him there?
