Well, you can tell that to my old landlord. The man's 90+ and he went riding by on his bicycle the other day.

My great grandfather also rode his bike until he was 87, but you won't find too many 100 year olds doing that, which was my point. There are exceptions to the rule, but most people over 90 are dependent on help.

My grandmother has a lady 103 in her complex and she still goes to every group activity they have in the community. She's sharp as a tac and the only serious problem she has is her hearing! And even that's better than some of the 60 year olds!

Your "exception to the rule" is not as rare as you might believe. Besides we're talking about ALIENS!

I can't help but be slightly disappointed that while people have comments on age and looks for T'Pau nobody wanted to mention whether or not they disliked (or liked) how I wrote her. I tried very hard to blend what we saw of her in the Vulcan Arc and what we see in Amok Time, while trying to make her a sympathetic and multilayered individual! If people don't think she's likeable, I get that, I myself wouldn't want to have brunch with her and get a manicure.

But I had hoped I at least succeeded in making her feel like a real person! That and I hoped to convey she have both Trip's and T'Pol's best interests at heart.

I did like her character. I liked all the vulcan characters you're building up.

Di niente. :D
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Okay I figured since I gave you what T'Pol's family looks like in my brain, I should give you Trip's as well...

Mrs. Fiona O'Neill-Tucker, http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=hel ... ORM=O1HV11

Mr. Charles Tucker Jr. (aka Deuce) http://ewinsidetv.files.wordpress.com/2 ... harris.jpg

Mr. Liam Micheal Tucker, http://jollypeople.com/files/2009/01/qu ... g-1457.jpg I swear there's a moment in Casino Royale where he looks just like CT! But the man never smiles! :-x

Mrs. Jeanie Carry-Tucker, http://www.billwhelan.com/gallery/image ... latley.jpg She's the lady with the flying red hair, in case people aren't as obsessed with Irish Step Dancing as I am.

Doctor Maeve Alieen Tucker, http://images.zap2it.com/images/celeb-5 ... tles-1.jpg Yes a country singer!

Sean Brayden Tucker, I used to think Freddie Highmore would work, but he works better for the Twins. So change up. http://i43.tinypic.com/dz7abl.jpg

Gracie Colleen Elizabeth Tucker, http://www.famouswhy.com/pictures/peopl ... proulx.jpg Aside from Eric Bana, she was the only good thing about The Time Traveler's Wife, and her hair was red in that movie so imagine more red in her hair.

Finally I know this isn't the actress cast in the role but I think this is a better Lizzy Tucker...http://images.wikia.com/westwing/images ... _Hayes.jpg

Still stuck on the last scene of chapter 7 and TnT's Monologues for the funeral. I need some inspiration, but where to find it.

I don't think T'Pol would speak at the funeral, but Trip does. Let him say, what a human says when he loses his child to an unspeakable crime. Let him be angry, bitter and resolved to find those who are guilty.

T'Pol is going to speak, this is a *Vulcan* ceremony and she has every right to speak at her own child's funeral. She is going to follow the traditions of her people.

As for Trip the worst thing in the world for him to do is vent and go off. The people who are responsible have already been caught. Besides I find that massively OOC especially since in took him nearly all of season 3 to cry for his sister. He just doesn't do that. He had small outbursts during that time but for the most part, he kept himself in control. I'm sorry, but I don't think that will work for the chapter.

Trip lost his sister in the episode "The Expanse", he cried for the first time in "The Forgotten" - months later. In contrast he lost Elizabeth in "Terra Prime" and weeped in the very same episode. He was not in denial as hard as he was over the death of his sister. And quite frankly, Trip not being massively emotional at the funeral of HIS OWN DAUGHTER, now that's what I'd call grossly OOC. After all there has to be a reason why T'Pau tried to talk him out of participating at all. She knew he'd lose it.
I just can't see Trip being a pseudo-Vulcan whiloe burrying his baby girl."

He cried in private both times. And he does have exceptional composure when he is in public. Look at the end of Terra Prime after he cried in private with T'Pol. He is not a man to express himself in that way in public, he never was throughout the entire series.

And who said he would be a "psudo-Vulcan?" As far as I am aware I haven't written him as trying to behave like a Vulcan would.

T'Pau, never met Trip before in her life. She has no clue what to expect from him. She was concerned, and she expressed those concerns. She was never going to try and stop him.

You seem to consider his "composure" in season 3 some sort of achievement. It isn't. What Trip was doing in season 3 was buying an express ticket to clinical depression. I know what I'm talking about, because I've been there, done that´. You don't get a T-Shirt, but a nice checkbox named "suicidal" ticked in your patient record.
The signs are all there. He gave up on himself by working 40+ hour shifts, not giving a rats arse about the fact that he might endanger others. He saw himself as worthless. As I said, been there done that. All of that didn't happen with his baby girl. Unlike the death of his sister, he was actually there, whe his daugther took her last breath. I maintain, hims staying calm and quite during her funeral would be grossly OOC.
