Alternately, you could go with my theory that Archer is an immensely powerful telepath who is able to force people to think he's the greatest thing since sliced bread when he comes across as Captain Zapp Brannigan in the level of competence.

I should point out, BnB, that I read a lot of your stuff many months ago starting at HoT but haven't read ANYBODY'S stories like a year. Just ask Lys or Starwatcher
