Status and Support

I just finished chapter 14 and 15 of The Captives and started with my Conclusion-chapter. I got nice idea for the TnT scene which had been a hick-up. If I finish that chapter, a new fic called Barefoot is the next in line to be finished. I got some other ideas for new stories (and to think I want to stop writing fan fic after Barefoot): a follow up for Whisper - a chapter about what really went down on Risa (my rewrite of The Seventh) and even for a third chapter, which explains the actions of T'Pol and why Trip and T'Pol were so not together in season two. It ends on a rather depressing note. I have another idea about a story, a rather sad one with some spikes love and hope, dealing with Trip and T'Pol struggle to have childern. I planned all this chapters to be short, I think it works better that way. Okay, so I stop after I write those ideas down.

Why do you think you have to stop?
Go slowly, take your time, but, please, do not think to stop.
It would be very sad for everyone, but for me it would be disruptive: you are among the people whose stories and writing way are absolutely perfect for me. I didn't find anything, ever, which I was able to judge not good, hurting, contrived, disagreeable, offensive...etc etc.
The lack of you and of your stories would be intolerable!

Eehh.. yes, it is. I am sorry to upset you, Warpgirl, that wasn't my intention. I enjoy writing very much, but I haven't much time. I mostly write early in the morning, before 6.30 am - the time I must get ready for work and my kids wake up. But don't worry, the way my muse is teasing me with all kinds of ideas - you not rid of me for a long time. Thanks Asso for your advice. I will take it at heart.

Well you know I love you. We do have our Dutch relatives to bond over so we must stick together. BUT I understand that real life is tremendously hard, and stressful and stuff happens. So I will only say if you can keep writing, I'll be right here cherring like the manical fangirl I am. If you can't, know you have my fondest gratitude for the wonderful stories you have written, and my best wishes always. But don't leave entirely OK. I'd miss you.

On the topic... I must make a confession about Mirage. There are going to be cries, and shouts, and some cringing (especially for what happened to Disruption, that is... well, disrupted and because everybody knows I'm quite slow writing) but the truth is that Mirage will have around 30 or 35 chapters? And it is just... Book 1.

There are 6 more (at least).

Don't worry. Since I'm one of her fans, it's flattering to be mistaken for Escriba. But she had some issues with the Locum too so I felt I should correct the record there.
