hi everybody, i'm AussieSheila and obviously i'm new here so i thought i'd say hi and i am so honoured to be here with all the authors that i look up to!! all the authors of this site are like idols for people like me :D (yes i am rather young) so anyway, a few things, just wondering how you're supposed to submit fanfic. despite instructions, i am still utterly clueless :oops: and also i don't exactly get the beta thingy so if someone could fill me in, that would be awesome. i just came home from a very long day and i'm not functioning properly so gimme a break. oh and i'm prone to rambling (like i am now) so feel free to tell me to shut up :lol: and i have a bad habit of terrible grammar and punctuation and i don't take offense seriously so good luck trying to get me angry :) i think that's it so hi again and...ya hi!!

oh and one more thing, how do you get the avatar thingys? and what does the cadet thing mean? does it have to do with the fics? sorry so many questions, it's hard to satisfy a curious soul ;-)

Aussiesheilia, from the name I gather that you are a young australiian woman. Welcme to a fantastic group. As far as writing I am very new and these people help a newbie a lot.

Beta, that is an experienced person who can help you with (what I have too: lousy grammmer and punctuation) your Beta will keep you from making writing errors (least ways mind does) They are worth their weight in gold.

So, jump right in the water is fine.

BTW, I am the oldest person on this board (74 years old)
I am Retired. Having a good time IS my job

Welcome AussieSheila, as I have said before, this place will nurture and encourage new writers like no other.
It is a warm, wonderful, and accepting place for a new writer. They certainly keep me at it. Hope you enjoy it here :D .
