Okay, after a lengthy "creative break" I'm back at writing stuff, so I decided to try my hand at this word prompt stuff and the result is this :

Mutually agreed time and place of meeting for the purpose of furthering a romantic relationship

I admit I don't like Koss and don't care too much about the different books about Enterprise, but this story is really worthwhile. Thanks!

Yes do. I enjoyed the whole book (with a couple of exceptions) and it does open a whole new potential area for fics - I hope I'm not the only one who takes the opportunity!

Late again, late again...

The Vahklas hangs above a generic sort of planet: brown and white, green and blue. Teeming with life, ect. ect...
But Vahklas is not a ship of exploration. She is here for a meeting.
Presently a somewhat smaller ship drops out of warp, and sidles over to the freighter's' port side.
"Ahoy, Vahklas. This is the Mary Reade, Annis Bell commanding. Hey Tavin, good to see you."
"It is agreeable that we meet once more, Captain Bell. Your punctuality is to be commended. Have you managed to fulfill our order?"
"Sure did. Man, those Xyrillians must be gonzo for Earth goodies!"
"They are indeed enthusiastic consumers of Terran delicacies."
"Well, all this stuff is preserved, fortunately - no chance of what happened with those peaches, eh?"
"Indeed."
"Well, let's get this rendez-vous on the road, shall we?"
Cargo shuttles begin to come and go.
"So...you want me to read it off?"
"Proceed."
"That's one ton of shelled pecans, and a half ton each of candied pineapple; candied cherries, red; candied cherries, green; raisins; and dates. Wow. Whatcha think they're gonna do with all this, Tavin?"
"I have not enough data with which to speculate, Captain Bell."
"Well, if they're gonna make fruitcake, I hope somebody told 'em about the rum..."

evcake, I loved this . It was so funny for two reasons, Xyrillians importing all that sweet stuff to make fruitcake is so logical because we know their food is sweet according to Ah'len. The other thing is that I spend the holiday defending fruitcake to those that would make fun, because I happen to love a well made fruitcake!

Hee hee. Date: the fruit of the date palm.
I don't eat fruitcake much, but I love to make it. Too late this year, tho.
