Jolene Blalock gets recurring role in Legend of the seeker

The Nicci character is back but Jolene isn't playing her. Something about being brought back from the underworld in another body. And the actress just isn't that good. I'm bummed.

I was hoping it was going to be Jolene playing Nicci.I don't like Emily Foxler's portrayal of Nicci. I know Jolene recently filmed another Legend of the seeker show as Nicci.I just wish I knew when they were going to show it.

I had heard the same thing. Maybe she wasn't available for those two episodes, so they had to find a fantasy work around. But they've heavily promoted JB as Nicci - and it does seem like the character will be getting her old body back.

I caught a few minutes of the episode this weekend, and although I'm biased, I did think JB did a better job with adding layers to a character that is thus far pretty one dimensional.

I read several reviews and they didn't like Emily Foxler playing Nicci either. alot of fans didn't either they said she was too wooden in her acting ,too stiff that she acted like she was bored.Others wished Jolene was back that she had a grasp of Sister Nicci and made her more complex ,more personality than the new actress in Princess.

I'm just wondering maybe if, at the point she appeared, they all knew the show was on its way down and she took another gig or something.

I don't understand how they expect a show to make it when it airs here at 5 pm on WGN on a Saturday and at 10 pm on Fox the same night. Weekend TV is horrible and most people I know have abandoned looking for any good shows on Friday and Saturday nights so why do networks execs put shows on then?

Actually, when you think about it, Jolene's been working quite a bit, when you consider how in Hollywood it's a struggle to even get a walk-on part in a commercial and how many actors are making their living waiting tables and tending bar. Also, keep in mind that "Sinners and Saints" and "One Kine Day" haven't been released yet, plus she's had modeling gigs, so in the grand scheme of things, she's doing very well compared to most of her fellow actors.
