That's good to hear. There was some online speculation that Nicci had been recast - but glad to hear that is just rumors. JB knows niche genre shows, and I'm sure she has it in her to play a dark character. Nicci is apparently a long-term villain in the books - so if they like her I imagine she'll appear more and more.

LoS is a show that is feeding my need for a genre show that has all different kinds of episodes - focusing on different characters, some funny, some serious, some action-y. I always loved that about Trek - and with a TV landscape filled with self-serious BSG wanna bes and procedurals, LoS is a breath of fresh air.

Linda, I earned extra money reading the Tarot when I was in grad school. Don't be ashamed. I could make 200-300 in an afternoon.

Thanks, Honeybee. I thought this could be an interesting part-time job as I have been collecting Tarot decks for their art work. There are some outstandingly beautiful ones now that it is popular with hundreds of decks to choose from. :D
Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.

Nice to know that Jolene is mentioned in that interview and that there's no mention of her being replaced in the series by another actress to take over the Sister Nicci role.

The additional Nicci casting call for episode 13 takes place and the fans of the show think that maybe it will be Nicci's flashback from her youth:

The official site of "Legend Of The Seeker" has a small picture of Jolene's Nicci as the image for episode 9:

I saw it at another board one week ago and forgot to post link in that time.

and this picture slighty truncated in a different way is now on the main page:

How are her ears under that headscarf? Pointed? 8)
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Part 1 of one of the interviewing bloggers in a media conference call with Jolene Blalock who will be playing Sister Nicci (there are spoilers):
http://www.theseekercast.com/2010/01/jo ... pt-part-1/
Question – How did you originally become involved in Legend of the Seeker?
Jolene Blalock – It’s odd because I auditioned ages ago. I want to say probably over two years ago. The casting director at the time held on to my tape and the producers remembered me and when Sister Nicci came up and when they were writing her they thought of me and they brought me in for it. It’s sort of interesting.
