Thanks it's been bugging me this week. As if the health problems weren't enough my Dr. thinks I'm insane! So just out of curiosity, if Trip had opened his mouth at the wedding, do you think it could have made things worse? I mean I can see it being bad if she married Koss but also if she didn't.

If he was going to open his mouth he needed to do it before the wedding. But if he had ... who knows. I tend to think T'Pol still would have married Koss, though, for all the good Vulcan reasons.

I concur. Also I agree that Trip was hurt by it, but with the way he loves his own family I always thought he'd be very proud of T'Pol and love her more. But then Trip is a selfless kind of guy.

she could have, of course, ran up to Hoshi and asked but doubt if Hoshi would say anythiing and just profess ignorance. Even though hoshi had a one night stand on Risa.

Ask Trip? NOw that brings up all sorts of possibilities.

consult Phlox? He seemed to have a degree in just about everything so maybe he could have filled her in.

Read a Data base in the ships library on Human anatomy and Human Sexuality. In glorious scientific, dreary jargon. She probably would have a hell of a time with the nonemclature.

Or simply lure Trip to bed and let nature take it's course. She could let him take over once she had him under the covers.

Or the fact that she is a scientist could have led her to study human biology when she was posted on Earth. She knows about human anatomy because she helps Phlox many times. Also humans don't keep their databases secret, all she had to do was access all the scientific data for human sexuality. And the mechanics aren't all that diffferent from Vulcan sexuality because aside from a few minor quirks, we're built the same way. Females more so than males. Yeah, it says Vulcans have a much less acute sense of smell, then an Editor notes that in Enterprise it says the opposite.

These things are just someone's best guesses, or a collection of the canon writers' best guesses, which often contradict each other. Unless they reference canon specifically, I don't assume any of it is 'true.'
