^ OMFG Sybok just totally came out of the blue. All of a sudden Spock has a brother after all these years we thought he was an only child because they've stated repeatedly that he was an only child then all of a sudden we're supposed to buy into that "you were correct, I do not have a brother - I have a half brother" crap that TPTB flung at us like the evil space monkeys they are.



Er. sorry. I just had to rant about something and Sybok seemed like a good thing to complain about. I'll just go back to my lurking now... Cool

sybock was sorta erased in tng's sarek.
he pretty much is never acknowleded on screen after that movie

Sybok never seemed like a real Vulcan to me. And I accept a lot of Vulcan characterizations that other fans think are not very Vulcan-like. Sybok's relationship with Spock was not well done either, in my opinion. A thoroughly forgetable character next to the highly memorable characters of Spock and Sarek.
Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.

YES! OMG - that is the the best fan film in the whole world. I showed it to my husband and my friends and they all laughed their asses off.

I think I want to embed that sucker on my mySpace page...
