Chapters 6 through 8 of Chivalry is Dead by Peter Simons is reposted! In the Decon Chamber, although it is not consistently NC-17. I think it's about a PG-13 for the most part.

Warning: it's not finished and may never be finished, but it's worth reading, IMO> There is nothing else quite like this in the Trip 'n T'Pol genre, lol . . . !

I just get "<!--[endif]-->" when I go to that link (also from the fanfiction front page and the archive).

I'm addicted to reviews like any author, but they don't all have to be positive. I don't mind thoughtful critiques, and the nice thing about posting here is that you can actually have some back and forth about it, unlike fanfiction. net, where you can only do that if people have logged in.

I kind of wish I'd gotten some of those comments about POV in The Andorian Incident the first time the story went up (suppose I could have made it worse when I put those revisions in, but I suspect it was always a problem with that one).

I posted a new chapter of "Mirage" by Escriba:

Chapter 8 - Encounters of the Third Kind

There is some new weirdness going on. Administrators: When I past text into the story box, more of the original formatting is preserve than before. And I have to erase the beginning of the story and retype a few words to remove all kinds of gobbly-gok coding from showing up (about the font style etc.). THEN after it looks good for me, Alelou reports that it looks good in Mozilla Firefox but she can't see it in IE8.

Let me know if other readers are having a problem seeing the most recently posted stories.

I have the same problem, also with Internet Explorer. There is no text except for a code.
This is a recent problem, because I can't see the last two posted stories (by Alelou - Fortunate son and Escriba's chapter 8 of Mirage), but the stories that are posted before these, are fine.

When I clicked on Escriba's story I had the same problem, but here may be a clue: I get a message that the website is asking to run a Microsoft Word 2007 add-on. (Which I didn't run yet. Is that kosher?)

Admin tech geek gurus? Is it because the text file was .docx?

My only puzzlement is why this would only be an issue today, when probably all the files I sent over are the same format.

Do we need to only send you files in .doc format?
