Re: The Vulcan Heart
Canon of the show which frequently contradicts itself is not important thing for me personally. So far the author does not create the gigantic deviation from showed us (for example, that Vulcans has in Star Trek era the Spartan tradition to kill weak children) I'll read her/his stories without evalu...

Re: The Vulcan Heart
And as far as I'm concerned, KTR and Ludmila are arguably the biggest Treksperts here, because whenever someone has a question, they're right there with the answer...and they seem to have acknowledged my theory as plausible, regardless if they personally subscribe to it or not, so that's good enoug...

Re: Jolene Blalock gets recurring role in Legend of the seeker
I watched the 9 episode "Dark" thanks to the unabiding users of YouTube  and enjoyed it a lot. Jolene made very good job. I especially liked the scene with Ulicia's murder. Cara and Leo were interesting characters for me while Richard seemed too serious and I disliked Kahlan. I stumb...

Re: Video Thread Up!
I noticed the second vid by the same vidder with the same pairings (Spock/Uhura Trip/T'Pol) only without shots from TOS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkHHL94dfww with Halo by Beyonce. I like this music more and enjoy this vid more not only because of its music but the second vid made more fascinat...

Re: The Vulcan Heart
I do not like Pon Farr at all but I accept this idea and am usually free for any interpretations which fanfic writers give me. Two Canon sources contradict Vulcan women going through it. The first is Search For Spock Saavik says Vulcan MALES must endure it every seventh year of their adult life if a...

I do not like Avril Lavigne but enjoy the new nice video about Vulcan-Human personal relations in TOS, Star Trek 2009 and Enterprise (Spock/Uhura Trip/T'Pol):

Re: The Happy News thread
Thank you, Alelou , for nice explanation! I am now glad more that I am being near "a large body of water" only in the summer. 8) Lake Baikal? I neglected an opportunity to travel on business there (but I prefer staying at home in the winter). It is more expensive than the trips to Spain, ...

Do you mean to say the plants on pandora could be translated to Earth? Like to regrow our ecosystem if it had all but died? Kind of interesting idea for a sequel... Jake and Neytiri on Earth  The book explained that the deadly danger of Pandora's air for human consists in the higher concentrat...

Congratulations, justTripn ! :happyjump: I hope you will have other pleasant "wild coincidences." China's not a done deal yet, but I am very hopeful. I'll have to blog from there if I get the gig. It's way more exciting than the conference in Toledo I have to go to. Good luck, honeybee , w...

Re: Jolene Blalock gets recurring role in Legend of the seeker
Jolene's interesting interview (WITH SPOILERS) appeared in TV Guide magazine: http://www.tvguidemagazine.com/news/jolene-blalock-from-vulcan-to-sorceress-3841.html Who’s your favorite cult sci-fi character that you’ve played? I’m biased. I have to say T’Pol. It’s the one I invested the most in. Do y...

Thank you, KTR, for such wonderful link!
It was interesting to see Sweden "Turning Torso" with that background as well as other remarkable sights.
Besides the pleasure for eyes "Ave Maria" added so much for another sense body.

Re: Randomness
Hey, anyone heard of this before? This video's kind of long (maybe 5 minutes?) and starts out cheesy but I think it's worth watching b/c it's a pretty remarkable engineering project. http://www.miapoliscity.com/index.html I mean, it's possible this NEVER HAPPENS, but it sounds like it'd be worth th...
