Re: The Happy News thread
Kotik, with your flying experience, I think you should write a story about propeller airplane flying on Vulcan. How would the thinner atmosphere and heavier gravity effect the design of gasoline powered propeller airplanes? Would they even have them at some point in their history of flight on Vulca...

Re: Trip on Vulcan
Why am I suddenly imagining T'Pol doing commercials for once-a-month Boniva? She wouldn't be as perky at it as Sally Field is. Technically, that issue should be affecting her on Enterprise , too. Still, less gravity is probably not nearly as damaging as NO gravity. Please please please write this o...

Re: Trip on Vulcan
There one big mistake in canon, when it is said the Vulcan has a thinner atmosphere. Atmosphere density (supposing approximately the same O2, N2 composition) is proportional to the acceleration of gravity. With higher g, as stated in canon, Vulcan should have a more dense atmosphere...

Re: Challenge Idea
Okay. I know. This is getting riddiculous.... And feel tremendously guilty for taking even this long to come to this conculsion. So, yeah. I suck. If you want me to step aside so that someone who, idk, actually can make themselves write this chappie (which is argueing with me, despite the fact that...

We need a breaking headline!

(I wouldn't put it past an American editor to change that one to the wrong thing because it's becoming common usage, which does, arguably, mean it's no longer the wrong thing.)
The copyright page says it was printed in the US... (but remember the author is British)

Cause SEVEN movies wasn't quite enough. I mean, why seven, when you could have EIGHT!?
Probably because there were 7 horcruxes... ?

As for Scotty, OK. But I believe the other to be that Enterprise captain on the first movie.

Re: NOVEMBER 2010 Word Prompt
When somebody has no idea what the site is like or the challenges sometimes it seems a little nuts. If you went over to the KOTOR site knowing nothing about it you'd think they were absolutely insane too. There are people out there with no clue about this fandom. Sorry WG , but I have to agree with...

I watched Enterprise only in DVD, several years after the TV show. Don't know if someone has ever made this question but it came often to my mind: Have the authors of ENT watched TOS, TNG, ... ??

I agree with Aik, I always considered that dialog something that a casual "boyfriend" could ask to his "girlfriend" before meeting her parents for the first time. It is about their personal and romantic relationship, not about their sexual life.
