Re: The Happy News thread

Escriba, that's a scary story, and I'm glad you're okay.

Three days 'til I go home for break!

:faint:

Whoa! That's way exciting!

I'm not sure if I will be into DW once David Tennant leaves, so these last episodes will be bittersweet.

Re: The Whine thread.

If these students can't be bothered to do something as radical as set foot in the library or even use a decent academic search engine, you'd think they could at least find more reputable sources online, legitimate publications such as a New York Times article or a Newsweek report. The AMA and CDC......

Re: Naughty unruly students who use cell phones in class

Furthermore, I emphatically disagree with some of the things that are part of doctors' training. Personally, I DO NOT want a sleep-deprived, under-nourished resident working on ME. It's unfair to the doctor, and it's HUGELY unfair to the patients under his or her care. I agree. Incidentally, it als...

We can. I jest. Although I stand by Enterprise being a superior name for a ship.

I love this game! Apples to Apples. In fact, I requested it for Christmas. You match up adjectives with nouns. Trust me, it's more exciting than it sounds. ;-)

Re: Randomness

I am a firm believer in not friending one's parents/offspring. I love my mom, but my Facebook is my thing. Which is alright, because my mother has no interest in Facebook. ("What? You found a clumsy reindeer? Oh, you mean on your Facebook farm.")

Thus proving once and for all that Trek is superior to Star Wars. :raspberry: Nobody is naming it... what's that Star Wars ship?

Re: HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY JENNIF...ER, ENTERPRIKAYAK!!!!11ELEVEN

It's seriously a shame that we all live so far away from each other. It would be SO much fun to party with you guys for Christmas, although judging by recent posts many of you would probably find my idea of partying WAYYY too tame since my parties are alcohol-free. You'd all like the food, though. ...

Those are both water soluable, so you can't overdose on them. They wash out of your body each day. If on the other hand, the vitamin or mineral can be stored in fat cells, you can build up alot of it over time. Those are the things you need to worry about. Ah, good to know. Thanks! You know, belate...

Re: Randomness

I have a question for those of you who are in the medical field. Can you overdose on things like thiamin and B12? See, as I was drinking my Odwalla smoothie today I noticed a serving has 360% of ones daily thiamin. And there are almost 2 servings to a bottle. That's a lot of thiamin.
