Re: Writing

I will start posting reviews then. What about older stories; do you still want readers to post reviews of Fur and Feathers (just as an example)? Any other author's have a viewpoint? I don't know how much effort it would be to add a sentence or two to the Archive lead-in to say that reviews are alway...

Do author's still want reviews on old stories?

As some of you know, I got to fan fiction late. Many of the stories were posted 5 or more years before I read them for the first time and the story reviews and responses were almost as old. I never felt comfortable getting in my two cents, that late in the game. I have also wondered as the current a...

Re: New Fanfic Submissions: 2015 Edition

I find that is true with quite a number of the better stories. They don't often lose a lot on subsequent readings, in fact in many cases, I find myself taking my time truely enjoying the story and not rushing to the end.

Re: Writing

I could probably set up some sort of reminder (e.g. monthly). It also might be possible to setup a work in progress section that would only be available to Admins and selected authors and possibly a forum for those same authors. I would need to get Elessar's approval, if you are interested. The obvi...

Re: Randomness

It would be great to see attractive female leads *not* poured into a catsuit, and mature, competent characters who don't need to act like twelve year olds in order for the plot to happen. (Yes, 'A Night In Sickbay', I'm looking at you!) Don't hold your breath, hoping for something good. Maybe if th...

Re: The Whine thread.

I agree about not knowing what that was like, but I have had several hernia surgeries and the next to the last one (back in the early 80's) was a real pain so I can empathize to some degree.

Re: Putaro's Enterprise Rewatch Reviews & Snarkfest

I can't remember, why didn't Archer or T'Pol report Tolaris to the Captain of the Vahklas. Is T'Pol willing to let Tolaris to continue to rape others just to keep her rep clear? I don't think they said anything about whether they reported it to the captain or why they didn't. If there was a crime, ...

Re: Fusion

Archer is in the Ready Room and has called Tolaris in. After a little forced cheerfulness, Archer lowers the boom on Tolaris about assaulting T’Pol and Tolaris boom booms him into the wall. OK, that’s a phasing. Well, not quite since Archer can’t manage to pull the trigger. ... Archer goes to visit...

I didn't know Bring it On was classified as SciFi. I guess the partial season of Flashfoward is the basis for her cred?
