Re: Anyone Still On Here?

I don't know whether anybody has figured out how to post stories here but it would be great to see the continuation of your series. And I still have a draft of another short story about a certain butterfly ...

Re: Anyone Still On Here?

Happy New Year!

I monitor those two sites too, and I'd be interested to learn of any others that are still active.

Thank you for your continuing work. :hatsoff:

Re: Donations for 2018 Renewal

When the site went down last week I was afraid that our small community had come to the end of the road, so I'm particularly relieved to see it back online this week. Hi, friends!

Re: As a reader % drives me nuts!

I'm never going to criticize a writer for being too slow!

I've got a whole pile of stories written in my head and waiting for me to get round to actually writing them, and most of them are no closer to being finished than they were this time last year. :(

Re: As a reader % drives me nuts!

My pet peeve? Writing in the present tense. Fortunately not many people do it, but it makes the story very difficult to get into. I've read a few stories written as though they were the script for a screenplay which were similarly unreadable. Poor grammar is another one, some writers use run-on sent...

The small amount I sent has been returned by Paypal because the receiving account's "Payment Receiving Preferences are set to manually accept or refuse this type of payment". :?

Re: Does Trip ever call Archer "Jon"?

In my imagination, the engineer in Trip was originally in awe of Jon as the celebrity son of the famed Henry Archer. I'm sure Jon milked that for all he was worth - just as I'm sure that nepotism played a big role in Jon's assignment as captain of the NX1. It's clear they were (or had been) close fr...

Re: Writing

I keep an eye on new works under Star Trek: Enterprise but don't recall seeing that name. The vast majority of Ent stories there seem to be slash.

Re: How much older ...

Setting aside the many reasons why the holodeck simulation is unrelated to reality, I like to think that if anything like that had happened in the real world, the message Jon would have given T'Pol would be "Don't worry, he'll be fine."
