Well, I don't have my certificate, yet! But, by the time we have a TriS con, I may well have it and I'd be happy to put on a workshop.
In the meantime, definitely check out what's available near you. I'm a big yoga evangelist! Most everyone can benefit.

Re: The Happy News thread
Oh start! Yoga is helpful for everyone. Plus, good for guys for meeting hot women as women still outnumber men in classes. Seriously, it improves balance, flexibility and strength - and you stretch and strengthen muscles you didn't even know you had. It's very hard to begin but totally worth i...

Re: The Whine thread.
aadarshinah, you can be happy whether you get married or whether you don't! I have never married by choice, not for lack of opportunity. It's because I happen to be a rare person that likes to live alone. My mom and dad have both said that they found it peculiar when I was growing up how I could ent...

Re: The Happy News thread
Oh, good for you Elessar! Yes, that is probably college town pricing. When it grad school, it's always good to have an escape from your house and the library to clear your head. Getting out to a gym is perfect for that, plus you might meet some interesting people! You made a good choice. My happy ne...

This is even weirder - It's not sideways as it appears to me. (Firefox for Mac)
Whew! For a second there I thought I couldn't even tell if those equations were sideways.

Re: How do I know Trip Had a Graduate Degree?
Well, we know *the_abomination* is all wrong on quite a few scores - and I've always thought that didn't mean the "self taught" thing didn't preclude him having a degree. More evidence of this is always welcome, of course. I'm in the camp that he joined Starfleet young, with a s...

Re: Non-TnT pairings
I wish Archer had reacted on screen to the season 4 angst. You and me both. Friends or not, Archer does seem to depend on T'Pol's presence - even if to find out what he wasn't going to do, once she verbalized it. Plus, pre-Cogenitor, Trip and Archer were pretty close. If your two senior officers, t...

Re: Least favourite bad guys
TNG Ferengi are like nails screeching on a blackboard for me. Annoying rather than scary. I recognize that DS9 gave us some pretty complex and interesting Ferengi characters (though I still found them annoying outside of the Jake/Nog Tom/Huck dynamic). Strangely enough, the only episode of Trek I ca...

Re: Archer as Captain
In the early episodes of the Season 3, she was still called Sub-Commander by everyone. I'm not sure when that changed, but eventually she was just Commander.

Re: Non-TnT pairings
You got that right, JT. I think Dessert Crossing is the favorite episode of Archer/Tucker slash writers, while the Tucker/Reed camp embraces Shuttlepod One. Personally, like you, I see more chemistry and slash subtext in Dessert Crossing - though I'm speaking theoretically since I don't write slash ...

Re: Randomness
That must have been fun, Alelou, getting the kitty out of the wall. My favorite part of that doc, aside from the beauty shot of the kitty beneath the light fixtures, is the very British people saying their cats' names and then explaining what they think the cat will do when released into IKEA! "...
