Re: Arrivederci

Dear Asso, you know how sad I am that it has come to this. It is however very good to hear that you plan to continue to write wonderfully insightful Trip and T'Pol stories in your own marvellous and unique way.

Re: Vulcan Arc

My understanding it that there is no way that T'Pol and Trip could conceive a viable embryo without a great deal of medical assistance. Sarek and Amanda required outside intervention in order to conceive and bring to term their baby, Spock. IMO Elizabeth was a binary clone created from their joint D...

Re: New Fanfic Up!

PS Elizabeth Barrett Browning HATED Jane Eyre. Just a piece of trivia, and she was Poet Lauriate of England. She loved Emily Bronte. Although Elizabeth Barrett Browning was as good a poet as many of her male counterparts I'm afraid she never held the official post of Poet Laureate of Great Britain....

Re: R/S: Why?

Minor point British (Britain) includes England, Wales, Northern and Ireland and Scotland. While in England I met scots who spoke with a british accent because they had spent most of their lives in England still they were Scot born. So, Malcom could be British and speak with an English accent and st...

Re: Need a Beta Reader? Post Here!

I am looking for a beta, because I like to post a short story (you can find it in the peacan thread). It's short and I don't think I made many mistakes - but still I would like for some one to check the story before posting. Just let me know. Thanks. So any one? I would be happy to beta your story ...

Sorry but no, meatballs are definitely meatballs in the UK. Faggots are either bundles of sticks for fuel or a particularly nasty slang term for homosexual males! :)

Re: Happy Mardi Gras!

Hi, just had to delurk, being a proud Scot, Cajun "canaille" and Scots "canny" sound pretty much the same. Since the Scots had French rule for awhile, maybe they are. Sorry to be pernickety, but the French have never ruled the Scottish nation! They have had an influence on our cu...
