He’s my friend
Though thoroughly irritating
So I’m sitting here
His viewpoint contemplating

“You are moving too fast”
He often has stated
But the stars are our destiny,
We have overlong waited

Perhaps on this visit
To his dry home world
His people’s true nature
Will become unfurled

I look forward with hope
To that illusive day
When my surly companion
Will in all fairness play

I love this Linda! A Vulcan might reminisce... just think about what it'd have been like IF T'Pol could've met Trip when she was in her 30's, hehe.

That's delightful!:D Your poetic touch is very considerable. I remember another poetry that delighted me: This Thing Called Love. Beautiful! Very beautiful! :p
